My grandmother was a short order cook for years before I knew her.She could taste a dish and figure out how to duplicate it.Unfortunately I was too young to really appreciate that abilityand absorb that knowledge.I strive to get that ability and want to share that chase along the way.
Don't Be Afraid to Fail
I like to think of myself as an experimental cook sometime the recipes I present may need adjustments from time to time.I want this to be a place where you can find new ways to have fun with cooking without the worries of the meal being too pretty or too ugly.I will use different methods and will try many experiments along the way. There will be failures and nasty food made but that is ok, we can’t always produce award winning food.So have fun and enjoy the recipes.
